58 Radiator Seals

Can you install the seals on Radiator when it is already installed and running, and I cannot by looking at any pics see where they go, has anyone got any photos of this? Thanks, Brad.

Are you talking about the '62 only seals that CC & others "pretend" are for 58-61?

Loren, 58-62 bottom seals three piece, not the long side pieces. Need to see pics of where they go and can be installed with a running car. Brad.

Hi

You need to take the grille out to see the lower rad area. The seals glue to cover the gap between the fiberglass and the rad cradle. If you take the seal that looks like a triangle and line it up with the rad cradle you will see a cut out that goes around the cross bar (bottom corner of cradle) The second triangle goes on the opposite side and the long rectangle fills in the space between the two. You will need to cut the long rectangle most likely. I used weather stripping glue not sure if this is correct but it is what I did. I only glued to the fiberglass in case I needed to get it off to pull the cradle. Hope this helps
