    1978 Pace car interior

In the case of the '78 Pace Car with the leather/cloth interior--does the cloth cover the entire back and seat of just below the to bolster on the back and not to the full length of the seat? Also, If you have the option of the leather/cloth seats is there some difference in the door panels/

Just noted your member #...52000...geez! Makes me wondier what we are up to now...Nice number.

I've got a Pace Car cloth seat out of the car in the backroom so I believe I can answer your question but not sure I understand what you're asking. This is tough to describe without photos.

It's an insert that stretches from where the bottom seat insert is stitched to the leather that surrounds it up to the head rest. At the head rest, the cloth is rolled to the backside where it is stiched to the leather to secure it to the seat side leather components. At the backend, the bottom insert (seat) cloth is stretched to the backside of the seat and stitched to a leather strap that is stitched to the leather bolster sides...not unlike the headrest cloth insert.

Also, If you have the option of the leather/cloth seats is there some difference in the door panels?
Yes, the door panels match the seat insert material so cloth get cloth inserts on the upper portion of the door panel while the lower portion is carpeted. Likewise with leather, the upper portion is leather...lower is carpeted.

Not sure if that helps but if you'll drop me an email, I'll take some photos and send.

Tom, the mileage is 31,500 and the Vin is 905631. It is also an L82 w/auto. Sorry can't remember first part of Vin off hand, but it does have the L82 digit. Jim

You got it right, most when asked just interested in the 90xxxx. A late build...what's the build date code on the trim tag? Probably a late "Hxx"
