    You can have it judged again after the replacements..it's only original once as they say..

    I appreciate your reply, but at his point having the car judged with the original bumper is not and option. When I said my bumper fell apart, I meant it literally. The morning after a drive, I went out to the garage to find 3/4's of my bumper laying in about 15 pieces on the floor.

      Oh boy, my original front cover is still on my 74 and I just cringe every time I go out to the garage now! The rear cover is another story though.

        ....I removed my rear bumper(which was perfect, by the way)in Sept of '03 due to a right rear fender that had to be replaced. I very gently removed it, laid it perfectly flat on the garage floor and in about a six hour time span it shrivelled up like Dorothy poured water on the Wicked Witch of the West.

        ...too bad I didn't have a time elapsed movie of it.
