beech bend dragstrip louisville ky 1965-69

Anyone have movie pictures or photos from the 1965 to 1969 era from Beech Bend Dragstrip Bowling Green Ky .
I own a 1965 Corvette Coupe 365hp small block 4 speed red ext/red interior that was successfully drag raced in B Sports Stock Class by Travis Woodward and then by Donnie Gardner (i.e. worked in parts dept of V.V.Cooke Chevrolet).
I have talked to both these people and neither one kept any photos of the car being drag raced.
I have contacted former track owner and no old records or pictures were kept.
I have searched on the internet but cannot find any BeecH Bend Raceway drag action videos for sale from the 1965 to 1969 era.
Even general home movie films from the era may showe car in pits or staging lanes.
Please contact me if you have any mnovies or pictures or know the name of person who does: Thanks for any assistance

A friend of mine worked in the service dept at V.V. Cook in the 70's and he also worked for NHRA and may have worked at Beech Bend. I forwarded your info to him and I'll PM you his name and contact info.

Bill, It is a long shot, but the Bowling Green newspaper (I can't recall the name) or TV Station might have something. A call to the Corvette Museum might get you contacts for either media outlet. Don't forget the local (I am not sure if it would be Bowling Green or the county or both) Historical Society as another potential resource.

The Bowling Green newspaper is the Park City Daily News; WBKO is the television station. Both were in operation back in the Beech Bend drag race days.

Curious to know, back in the day what kinds of ETs and Top speeds where they getting with a 1965 Corvette Coupe 365hp small block 4 speed; and with what exhaust and rear end gears?

my 64 with 365 HP std dual exhaust and 4:11 rear gear ran 13.41 and mrs clem ran 13.61 back in the day.

I watched Travis and Donnie run lots of times. No pics or movies, sad to say. Back in the day, almost no one carried a camera.

do you remember the NHRA class they ran in . Was it B Stock Sports
Also do you remember the approximate 1/4 mile times `anmd/or speeds
Would it be low 13 secomds and 110 mph.

also any trick stuff done to car

I found Tom Freemal living in Stow Ohio nrear cleveland and have his cell phone number. I contacted him and he is looking through his negatives for me for pictures of my car at drag sytrip
