C1 Windshield and Door Glass from Glassworks

Anyone bought windshield and/or door glass from Glassworks? If so, was the LOF coding/dating block NCRS correct?

OEM Glass seemed to be the most highly recommended vendor for windshields and door glass, but they no longer sell these products.

Glassworks: The HARDTOP SHOP is also highly recommended for hardtop work on this forum. They also sell windshield and door glass. I know they get their glass from Pilkington, which I understand makes most if not all the glass now. So, the only issue should be is how correct their LOF glass coding and dating. This is for a 1960 that I do plan to have judged.

    Thanks,

    Don

    Don,

I bought a dated windshield from them last fall for my '60, I've installed it, but I haven't had it judged yet so I can't speak to that. The glass seems of good quality and fits well. I hope not to loose any points on the date.

I bought it from them as I had a trip planned past their shop so I saved shipping by arranging my order with one they had already made with their supplier. So I picked it up and they didn't charge any shipping/trucking fee. Saw their shop and spoke with them. They had a shop full of hardtops & glass and they gave me some installation tips. Nice people to deal with.
