C1 (1960) upper door fit to lock pillar

Would someone have a photo of a 60, or I guess a 59 would be the same, of the upper door edge where it fits to the lock pillar.

See the picture attached. Note how the edge of the door is curved away from the lock pillar. Is it supposed to be like that, or should the gap be the same all along the edge. Both sides look like this, so I'm wondering if it should be like this, or if at some point someone ground it back for clearance

My '60 looks just like yours as well. The gap is uniform in width (about 3/8") until it gets near the end and then it widens out to 1/2".
