    1960 Radiator clips

I was going through some of the parts I received with the 60 and I came across these. From what I have read, they should be triangular in shape, but these are flat. Could these belong to my 60 or something else?

    Thanks

    Tom

The clips in the photo belong on a top tank aluminum radiator. They mount on the right side and slide down on the u shaped pcs. that holds the radiator to the support.

Not from my car then. Interesting.

      Thanks.

How strange that I discovered the same type tags yesterday on my 60 Vette. However they are stamped AB and the other is BC. I known for a fact that this radiator is a brass replacement installed around 1968 or so. Are these from the replacement or were they originally on the aluminum radiator? What do the letters indicate.

I would say they are from an aluminum top tank radiator as there is no place to mount them on a copper radiator. The copper radiator used a triangular shape that mounted to the over flow tube. As far as the letters go maybe someone that worked at GM could shed some light on the subject.
