I took delivery in June, 1962 of a black F.I. 1962 Corvette with Chrome Dayton knock-off wheels. They were dealer installed by Union Chevrolet in Memphis, Tenn. I kept the wheels for a while and used them a new 1964 Corvette. A picture of my '62 is in the current issue of the Corvette Restorer.

George and Richard, on the Dayton Wire Wheel website is a picture of a black/black '62 FI with Daytons. In '77 there was a black, red interior L-82, 4 speed in the Louisville area with chrome Daytons. It was a knock-out car.

Gary, in the '84 timeframe Nick At Nite showed Route 66. Having just bought one of those new VHS recorders I began recording the shows daily. I still have them. I either missed or they didn't show the one which took place in Denver (IIRC) where there was a hotel full of stewardi. 'Pretty hot in Granbury?
