Do the rear springs on '58 get yellow inspection paint on the rear portion of the spring (at the rear bushing)?

Marvin, yes, my 58 and 59 had them, very messy application. The main leaf was silver, but the whole assembly including the rear axle was painted with tar based blackout and covered all the pretty marks up.
