Re: 1967 window felt
Hey George,
You didn't say whether coupe or convertible. Either way, to do the job right, you have to remove the window from the door and then remove the window channels. To remove the windows, you have to remove the rear window channel first. Once the channels are out, replace the strips and then reinstall the window and channels. The coupe has upper channels which are more challenging. If these are not a problem, let them be.- Top

Re: 1967 window felt
George,
Here are of few photos from a 67 convertible I recently did. I see in your profile yours is also a convertible.
Yes Douglas is right, remove the window and you'll be able to get the rear track out. It takes a little trickery as you may have to loosely hold the window partially up after removing the stud nuts on the horizontal track guide. You have to angle the rear track bottom towards the front of the door to get it out. A helper may be an advantage........
When the tracks are out, remove the old felt, noting how the top was glued and trimmed. Clean the runners very well. I lightly bead blasted these and coated with a dusting of silver cad paint. I used the 3M Black Weatherstrip Adhesive to glue the felts. Brush it on both the felt and the runner. Allow a extra inch or so of felt for the top to trim out later. Let it cure for a few minutes then carefully apply the felt starting at one side, tightly into the corner, then roll it into the bottom surface, then tightly into the other corner and up to the other side. Leave enough to trim it off with a razor knife along the sides of the runner. Trim the top as shown, as this was how the originals were on these. i.e. wrap it over the top of the runner and glue to the outside 3 surfaces as shown.
This job is a great cure for "ratlling" windows on a convertible.
