Nothing to wonder about, it is supply and demand. There are few NOS filters and there are plenty of ready, willing, and able buyers.

I think that Dick Fortier reproduces these brass screen filters. I have not actually seen one but I was told they are perfect. I think he sells them for 5 bucks each.

Fortier's entry into this product line might be why the fellow that has these NOS examples is selling his 'stash'------get them sold before most folks find out about the Fortier reproductions.

The best part is we judge the windshield washer fluid storage container and cap but I have never asked an owner to remove the cap pull up the hose assembly to view the hose and filter.
Maybe I should................... after thinking about it I will well enough alone just the container and cap is it.

Super Glue is sensitive to moisture, is your screen still attached or did you use something stronger like epoxy?
