Hello: I am a new member of this forum. I have a '97 Corvette for many years and have recently bought a nice '65 Coupe. It is a two owner (now 3) 81000 mile car garaged in SCal for most of it's life. The second owner was a guy named Tom Spark that was well known for supplying vehilces to the movie industry for many years. The '65 is very unmolested with original engine, trans, most of it's paint, interior, etc. It really good driver and that is what I plan to do with it. I will be asking some advice from the members of this forum. Some pictures (hopefully) are attached.

Welcome aboard Mike, you will not be disappointed with the membership . This board has members with w wealth of information not found in books. Although I think a few of them should get together and write one.

Re: New '65 Owner
Welcome! I have had three 64/65s & all were 300/327 with powerglide. It is a nice driving combination. I just got back from the National Road Tour & Convention in one, we put almost 1300 miles on it. Enjoy, Don H.- Top

Re: New '65 Owner
Mike,
Welcome to NCRS!
Super nice find.
Drive it for a while and enjoy it before you start taking anything apart.
Might want to consider having it judged at a Chapter event before you change anything. Save any parts - no matter how small.
Most of all take it out early in the morning when traffic is light and just enjoy the car for what is was intended to be.
