I am considering having the new a/c installed from Vintage Air. They have a system that has just come out this month. Any ideas or concerns? I just can't drive my roadster in the summer here.

Jerry, nobody can drive these in the summer. Install the air, as soon as mine top flights Vintage Air is going in!

I am getting my 65 judged this winter as I just had my side pipes removed that were not originally installed. I also am looking into ordering the Vintage Air Gen 1V also even though I have a non A/C original car and feel that it s worth I think the maximum of only 35 points deduction. Is that the correct deduction of points? How original will the Vintage Air look after installation in the engine compartment as well as the interior?

I think it's 45 points, but it may be worth it. The complete system is selling for just under $1,400 from what I see on the internet. The Gen IV system just came out and is not on all the corvette distributor sites yet. I called Vintage Air and they assured me they will have it now for the C-2s.
