    58 door strikers and latch

How much overspray is actually on both of these pieces, seems if they weren't masked they would have paint almost covering the whole piece, so for judging how much is too much and what is too little? Thanks, Brad. Maybe some pics?

Brad, From what I have seen on original cars & hi point restos, just a little over spray on spacer plate edge & some on inner recessed plate also on top where striker meets fiberglass. On my 57 I just showed what a good day might have looked like. From what most experance members explaine there was a loose fitting mask like cover that was in place when paint process began, so bascially it would be safe to have a light film of paint where the metal meets glass and some in the recess area. You know they were good days & bad days at factory in St. Louie, not impossiable for mask falling off & most getting painted . I have a picture of what appears of unrestored pieces in red, looks like a bad day for painting at St. Louie.
