I have a SET OF nos 1967 SILL PLATES WITH THE gm PARTS STICKER ON THE BACK (PART # 3894542) WILL THESE PASS JUDGING?

it looks like 29 low groves.

I believe the correct number of ribs is 32

Thanks James, I check again and counted 32 tops of the ribs. is that what the judges go by?

I know of three 67's who have reached Top Flight status in the past two years. All three have indicated the ribs on the sill plates are counted and 32 is the magic number. Reproduction Sill Plates do not have the proper 32 count. Just learned a company call TRIM PARTS has reproduction sill plates with the correct rib count.

Sorry to ressurrect an old thread but was wondering if anyone has bought the Trim Parts 67 sill plates and if so, how did they do in judging?

I spoke to the folks at Trim Parts last month. I ordered a set for my 67 after they assured me they will pass NCRS judging. We'll soon find out when I enter the NCRS chapter event in Nov. followed by the Regional in Jan.

Received Top Flight 97.9 at the NCRS Chapter last weekend. Judges were really impressed with the Sill Plates. Interesting positive comments. Trim Parts has produced a great repro piece that equals the originals.
