WOW, thanks for posting the pictures. You guys have seen a heck of a lot of GREAT looking vehicles already and the Nationals is just starting!! I had posted earlier thanking Don H. for posting about the midwest tour. We were hoping to meet up with all of you at LaVelle's Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum in Decatur but we had to head to STL area instead. LaVelle has a heck of a collection and as you found out is a GREAT guy. Some of us took a trip to Michigan a while back and stopped at the Gilmore Museum. For anyone that hasn't seen it yet you need to mark it on your "to do" list. They have a collection that is beyond belief. If you get a chance to talk to some of the workers there are some amazing stories like the 38 Mercedes you showed. Thanks again for posting, and enjoy the week at the Nationals!!

If it is the car I think you are talking about, it has a split rear window -- which makes it a VERY unusual 1966.

It is a 2008 Corvette with the body panels removed and replaced with faux 1963 body panels. It was on the Road Tour last year and someone posted the link to the producer of the car. They have made about 80 of them so far. The cost was posted last year also. All I remember for sure is lots.

Missed the split window in pic's & the side vents, color looked like 66 Mosport Green. kinda knew it wasn't right. Must have cost a bundle. Thanks for the info. Save the Wave.>George
