Re: water pump rebuild?
The place where I send all of my water pumps to is Automotive Friction Co. Inc., 20521 SE Hwy 212, Damascus, OR 97089, phone 503-855-3670 or 800-545-9088, fax 503-855-3672. They have been absolutely wonderful for me - I've had 6 pumps rebuilt by them and all of those pumps worked fine once returned and installed. They are only a couple of hours away from me so turnaround time is quick, too. I've sent one out UPS on Monday and gotten it back on Thursday of the same week. Cost is around $75/unit, plus shipping and insurance. Although it's a far piece from where you live, I highly recommend them.

Re: water pump rebuild?
I was real happy with Arthur Gould Rebuilders in NY who did my original 326 pump for my 65.
They were honest, fast and fairly priced.
I think the quality of their work is 2nd to none.- Top

Re: water pump rebuild?
I'm not one to make negative comments, but I didn't have good luck with Mr. Mock on my water pump or another purchase I made from him. The water pump I got from him leaked upon installation and testing and, when I called him, he made it sound like it was my fault. Rather than argue, I just sent it out to the source I mentioned above and they did it right. This happened after Mr. Mock had sold me some valve covers that were not what they were advertised to be and he didn't want to give me a refund. Again, rather than argue, I just kept them. Just another point of view for you to digest. I suspect he is truly a reliable source but he just didn't work out for me.
