Is this what you're referring to?

This is my '67 M21 transmission, car was built on Jan. 11, 1967. The VIN derivative matches the frame and engine. The transmission is dated P7M30. "P" for Muncie, "7" for 1967 model year, "M30" for August 30th (1966).

The new Muncie date-coding for the 1967 model year is detailed in Adams, p. 430
