    1967 SB Radiator shroud

The radiator shroud that came off my 1967 L-79 has 2 part numbers on it, one on each half, which are 3886886 and 3886885 with the letters DS and GT above the numbers. Does any one know if these are the correct radiator fan shroud numbers for my application? If not what is the application for this shroud?
    Thanks
    Neal

    Neal,

For the 1967 small block fan shroud, the LH side is 3886885, the RH side is 3886886 and the top section is 3888268. See the 1967 AIM, UPC 11-13-A6.

To the best of my understanding, sometimes these sections have the part number on them, sometimes they don't. I think the same is true for the "GT" (General Tire Corporation?) and "DT" markings.

It sounds like you have the correct fan shroud.

      Scott,
Thanks for the reply. I took another look at the shroud and, although more difficult to see, I found the 3888268 numbers on the top section. I also found on one of the sides a logo for General Tire. The only difference from your post is that the DT marking you reference is DS on mine. Do you know what the DT or DS stand for?
      Thans again.

"DT" was a mistake on my part, I meant "DS". I checked my LH NOS fan shroud section, it still has the GM sticker still on it, and it has "DS" embossed in the fiberglass. I don't know what the "DS" stands for, but I'm sure someone around here does.
