67 Corvette Big Block Rear Sway Bar

Hi all,

Is a 67 BB rear sway bar the same with a standard suspension as it is with an F41 suspension? Also is it the same coupe to convertible and 65/66 BB to 67 BB?

For an F41 BB car it should be a 9/16" sway bar right?

Yes; yes, and yes.

Only the front sway bar changed (3 versions -- small block; big block and F41).

The base big block suspension ('65-'67 both 837 and 867 models) included a 13/16" front bar and a 9/16" rear bar. F-41, which first became available in '66 substituted a larger 15/16" front bar, higher rate springs, special shocks, and the HD rear lower shock/strut mount. These parts are the same as prior Z-06/F-40 parts used in '63 and '64.

Bottom line is that both base and F-41 have the same 9/16" rear bar.

These parts are the same as prior Z-06/F-40 parts used in '63 and '64.

and F40 in '65, the neglected middle child.
