    1970 & 1973-1977 3965543/3965544 Alum. Valve Covers

Are the 1970 3965543/3965544 aluminum valve covers the same as the 1973-1977 valve covers? I have a set of LT1 aluminum valve covers each with the following casting numbers:
    "P3965543 LH" "CBC"
    "P3965544 RH"
The lengths of the "cutouts" are 3 9/16" and 5".

The 1969 aluminum valve covers (3932418 casting number without drippers) have "cutouts" that are each 3" long.

The 1971-1972 aluminum valve covers (casting number 3989005 & 3965542) also have "cutouts" that are each 3" long.

I got this information from a 1970 Z28 expert that answered my question on the Nasty Z28 website.
    __________________________________________

1970 Z28 Valve Covers have some different casting features compared to the later 73-74 Aluminum Valves.
    1)
Three parts numbers are casted in both valve covers:
    P - 3932417 - LH
    P - 3965543 - LH
    P - 3965544 - RH
    2)
    Both slots are 3" long
    3)
    Drippers are:
11/16" wide at base (73-74 are about 5/8" wide)
3/4" in height (73-74 are about 5/8" in height)
    ___________________________________________

Is this information in the 1970 Corvette judging guide? The 3" long slots can be easily seen when the covers are installed on an engine.
