Here are a few pictures of sending units in my possession and a new strainer in the box p/n 5651702

    Picture #1 Original Unit
    Picture #2 Delco Replacement Unit
    Picture #3 Reproduction GM Authorized
    Picture #4 Delco Strainer 5651702

Have never had any trouble with customers complaining about this reproduction sending unit. I DON't sell the FARGO unit.

      Joe,
The difference I saw between the "Fargo" unit and the run of the mill cheap job was that the Fargo unit had nuts holding it together like the original Delco and the others had pressed in pins. I bought one of those while I was going to get my original unit restored and when I pushed the connector on the pin it pushed right through the sending unit in to the tank leaving a hole where the pin used to be. So I bought the Fargo because of the nuts holding the pins. I would not buy one with pressed in pins again. Just for piece of mind the extra $30.00 for the "Fargo unit" would be worth it but since I have my restored original back in the tank I will keep it as a spare for a rainy day.

Guys, sorry I'm a bit late into this discussion.

I have had my John Wolf restored original fuel sending unit in the car for a few months. It seems to be reading pretty close.

It passed Regional Flight Judging in Joplin without any issue.

Joe, if you need any strainers, then let me know.
