Emerg Brake Flasher

I am in need of a Tung Sol 650 flasher for my emerg brake set up in my 58 project. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

James, the 1958 thru 60 corvette emergency flasher is a 642. the 650 is for the 1955 thru 57. Kevin #775

Kevin, what reference are you using for that info? I did an archive search and opinions in the past were exactly opposite...the 642 was for the earlier cars and the 650 was for my car. I am only going by what I have found here in the forums...

62 used a flasher bulb, no separate flasher like earlier cars.

John, the 1961 and 1962 do not have a flasher they use a "GE357" bulb. only "GE' brand will flash at the correct rate, these are very hard to find. Kevin #775

I think you will find the number is 257 for the "blinker" bulb. (still GE)
