    Windshield washer problem

I just got my windshield washer pump back from D & M Restoration for repair, thinking that the pump needed some TLC since it wasn't pumping. Put it on, and still nothing. I tried sucking thru the supply line from the bag, and although a little hard to get fluid, I did. Anybody out there got any ideas. I'm getting ready for Texas flight judging and don't really want to take the 25 point operations hit for an inop pump. Guess I could always put on the replacement pump I've been running, but it didn't want to work to well either. No, the filter is not clogged. Thanks guys

Try priming all the lines to the pump the pump and to the wipers. This should help the prevent cavitation of the pump.

Kurt is the problem seem to be electrical? do you hear the the pump operating when you push the button? ( You should hear the pump start up when the button is depressed)

If its just a prime problem,I just take a old ketchup bottle and fill full of water and take the hose out of resivoir and squeez the bottle til water comes out of the nozzles.

I had a slight leak where the hose connected to the bottle. It was easier to suck air than fluid, so that's what the pump did. A bit of black weatherstrip cement and all was well again.

The point is, think of little sources of air leaks that might not even dribble fluid out.
