    Tire Tub

Hi, my tire tub has a missing peace. Has anyone bought a new tire tub and know how it judged. Also I just found out that the Goldlines need longer bolts holding up the tub lid, does the tire show below the tub with these longer bolts? Thanks for your help Terry

I believe it's not the gold lines that need longer bolts but the knock off wheels.

Terry, spare tire carriers are repairable, whether its the tub or the cover. The new tubs are not the same as the originals therefore a deduction. Not sure of how many points. Anyone that works with fiberglass can do this repair.

          Russ -

The goldlines required them too - that tire had a wider cross-section than the black or whitewalls.

Scott repaired the OEM tub for my 1967 car and did an excellent job. Very good work and a nice guy to deal with. Give him a call or e-mail.
