Re: 1958 interior paint
I think everyone is missing Bobs statement that he bought the "paint" from Al Knoch interiors . I just checked A K s website and they only carry dye/paint to change the color of your interior ( door panels , dash pads etc ) and from just recently having sprayed my hardtop's headliner with a can of dye/paint I got from C C that it is in fact semi gloss . I can't say for sure on the horizon blue whether its the same color as the blue paint used on the interior body surfaces but I know for a fact that the reds are not the same from having owned a 58 back in the 60's and having one now .
I feel certain that Bob has sprayed his dash cluster with interior
dye/ paint meant for dash pads headliners etc .
