I am trying to remove the power brake booster from my 1984 Corvette. I thought this would be an easy job but I am having trouble getting to the nuts on the firewall that holds the booster in place. It seems there are no easy jobs when it comes to Corvettes. After about an hour I was able to get to the lower nut but not the upper one even after dropping the steering column. There is just a lot of wires etc. in the way of getting to this nut. Maybe if I had a three foot socket extension that was magnatized on the end I might be successful. Any suggestions short of removing the entire dash??????
