After driving on a rough road, I noticed that my front parking light was hanging down, being held on by its electrical cord. It looks as if someone had covered the outer backing with epoxy, and stuck it back in, years ago. My question is, what should be on the inside of the body that would hold the metal bracket, that is attached to the back of the parking light. Should there be a rim around the edge of the body that holds it? DUTCH

There's a molded-in flange around the opening where the parking lamp installs; that's where the ends of the stamped retainer seat on the wheel side of the panel.Attached Files- Top
