Dated Glass for ouside mirror?

Can anyone advise me if the outside mirror glass (DS) that installs with the "snap ring" were date coded for a 1966 L79 Coupe and if so, do NCRS judges deduct points in there is no date codes on the mirror?

My 66 coupe has the original mirror that was removed in 1975 and stored in a box until recently. From what I can see the numbers and letters are 10-DMI-5 I don't know about the judging but I would guess it would be checked

Gene, the judging guide says that both Donnelly and Ajax exterior mirrors are all dated. Donnelly uses DMI and 1-12 for the month. Ajax uses AX and A-L for the month. Not sure what the deduction is for a non-dated exterior mirror.

Gene..-1 point for wrong date should be same for no date..Bill

With a total of 9 points assigned to originality for the exterior mirror would most judges not consider a 2-point deduct for a missing date and also a missing AX or DMI?
