Generator tach gears assembly

I'm about to install a new set of gears in my generator and was wondering if there are any "tricks" I need to know about. There were no gears in the housing when I bought the car so I had to buy what you see in the pic.

Putting it all together looks pretty straight forward as long as this is all I need. IS this all I need or should there be some shims, washer, etc... What type of lube should be used, white lithium grease, engine oil.... The big gear is plastic so should it be lubed too?

Like I mentioned I don't think this is a big deal but I'd just like to do it right the first time and I've never done this before.

Well I've done more searching here and on the Corvette Forum and Googled to all ends and all I've found is that the lube to use is white lithium grease so that's a start.

Now about the assembly of it, do I just assemble what I have in the pic or should there be some washers/shims for the small shaft end play? I'm thinking there should be something for end play wear but maybe not. If no one replies I guess I'll lube it up and put what I have together and hope for the best.

Greg I had mine apart this last winter I cleaned and lubricated it there was not much to it as I remember.
