    57 trunk lock "eyebrow"

    Anyone have some really good photos and or measurements of what the "eyebrow" should look like?? My paint and body guy would appreciate the help, and me too!

        I looked for photos when I had to re-create this one for the '59. I found one like the one posted here. I think I got it pretty close, not perfect, but it's better than what it was!

        I must tell you it was much work to get that little critter done! Your body-shop guy is gonna hate you for that photo.

          Can't tell from the photo but is this a copper car with original paint.
          Awesome detail and a nightmare to re-create to be authentic. I glad the body guy that did mine left it alone.

            Tom, to be honest, I pirated this picture from someone else's previous picture request. It was probably posted by John Hinckley. I try to save pictures like this for my personal reference as well as being able to help others looking for these hard to find details. So, the thanks go to someone else who may be able to answer your question. Sure looks like an original Aztec Copper '56-'57 to me.
