67 Convertible 427 Maroon VIN # 194677S104650

I have located the original documentation for a 67 convertible. The car was purchased new by a customer of mine. He has the invoice, registration card and copy of the title. If the car is still out there we would be happy to reunite these documents with the car.

The car was maroon with white top and interior.

VIN was 194677S104650. Purchased on 12-6 -66. I believe it was sold new in Ohio. I will post more details as I learn them.

I hope. I've only ever reunited one set of documents. Would love to do it again. I have done a little basic searching for this car and have had no luck so far !

Update: Car was originally purchased from Glenway Motor Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was traded in to Escue Pontiac in Covington, KY in 1969.

FYI, Glenway Motor Co. was more popularly known as Glenway Chevrolet which was my local Chevy dealer growing up. Bought LOTS of parts there for my Chevelle back in the day. Drove past it often going to/from home and high school. Back then it was located on Glenway Ave (hence the name) which is a major road on the west side of town. They moved a while back, and sadly closed just a couple years ago as I recall.

As you probably know, Covington, KY is right across the bridge from Cincinnati but Escue Pontiac doesn't ring any bells with me.

Small world sometimes and thought I'd share.

These stories always amaze me. This one gets even better. The two parties involved just spoke to each other. Turns out the current owner bought a different Corvette from the original owner back in the mid 90's !!

These two guys already knew each other !!! Neither had any idea they had this maroon 67 in common !!! Wow !! Cool story. Glad I could be a small part of it.

Just glad I could assist. Didn't ask for a dime. It's the right thing to do. I've had lots of good luck in my Corvette life, so I'm always glad to try and pass some along !!
