69 License Plate Bezel

Does anyone know how to tell if a 69 license bezel is original? I believe mine is, but after pouring over books I can't really say for sure. This one has the raised part number on it (3919715) on the back lower section. I have a reproduction that does not have a number on it. I would like to have it numbered piece plated, but it would be nice to know if its authentic before spending the money.

Hi Brad my 69 bezel just happend to be laying on the work bench went out to the garage to check my #s match yours 3919715. Mine is in such bad shape its got to be original cheep flash chrome i think hope this helps Jerry
