Gary, IIRC Paul Wozny pauljwoz@comcast.net or someone he knows in Minnesota made the diamond S's at one time. Gary....

You can have them made by companies that make rubber stamps. Thing is you'll have to find a company that can do it with black rubber as most use pink.

As addressed in the Restorer article of mine published recently, other option is to solicit members for some of their original logo weatherstrip and remove the logos.

                Gary,
I am sorry that I am unable to provide you with just the logo's, but as I explained, the reason I provide the entire w/s is it is the only way that I can provide you a product that I know will get you maximum point totals for your w/s. Additionally, it takes me roughly four days to make a set of logo's from start to finish, not including putting the set together. I would have to sell these at a price that would be unacceptable by most buyers. They are molded from original logo'd w/s and therefore they don't all look identical.

Today's w/s are extruded and not molded and the material used is loaded with waxes and oils that provide the UV protection wanted by owners today, but these waxes and oils make it almost impossible to apply silicone or latex (which is the material that most will try to duplicate the originals) made logo's to where they will stay . The two materials just don't want to stick to each other with any consistency. Same holds true for original w/s. They were made of rubber with a foaming agent applied and when you consider the brittleness of these logo's if you can remove them cleanly, they are usually too thick once applied to your new w/s. If you cut out your new w/s to insert the originals, you most likely will not be happy with the result and you have now destroyed a new set of w/s.

I have tried virtually every option and after almost two years of experimenting, feel like I have refined it to an acceptable level for judging. Clearly the over 120 '53-58's out there with my product on their cars with no known complaints speak for my process. To be clear, I am not selling my product in this email. I am trying to add to the already extensive knowledge of this board on this topic. Thanks.
