    Mid year instrument cluster condensation

My 66 Roadster is stored in a heated garage where I keep the winter temperature at 50F and in the summer the temperature ranges between 60-70F. I keep a dehumidifier running throughout the spring and summer. I noticed that the tachometer face has some fogging that is on the inner side from condensation. Anyone know of a good way to clear this fogging? Sit it out in the warm sun, etc.?

    Thanks,
    Dave K.

If it is indeed moisture, I would use a heat gun on a low temp setting. I would also randomly touch the lens to make sure I am not getting it too warm.

The first thing I would do is fix the leak in the heater core.

        Joe,

Heater core is original but flushed and pressure tested 4 years ago. No signs of leakage and engine is run and coolling system pressurized. No wet floor or any indication of leakage from heater box.

          Dave,

Water just doesn't happen! There has to be a lot of humidity but you say you have that under control. That water vapor came from somewhere. If it is AC look in the box as the vent may have stopped up and you have water in the bottom of the evaporator box.

I hate this Sherlock Homes routine but---------
