74 rear bumper
I am replacing my bumper with a new 2 piece flex-fit form ecklers. Did most of you replace the 2 bumper braces with your fiberglass bumper? Thanks

...when I used that Eckler's two piece '74 bumper in 2003, I just re-used my original bumper braces(the heavy thick black plastic ones I think you're refering to).
...IMHO, the Eckler's two piece is THE MOST ORIGINAL looking rear bumper for a '74 that's out there. It has the very correct roundness of the vertical seam, unlike some of the one piece units that have a phony looking "saw-cut" line down the middle, plus the Eckler's is a genuine two piece just like the original was. -

Dear Paul, thanks for your response. The braces are thick plastic. So , you drilled 2 holes for the braces and 2 holes for the license plate.Comment
