    Need help ID'ing a possible C2 part

Can anyone tell me what the part in the photo is? It's about 8" along the hypotenuse. The diameter of the rod is 3/8". I acquired it along with misc. C2 parts, so I expect it's a C2 part. But which one I have no idea.

    Thanks,

    Gary

I've had my 67 completely apart and did not find anything like your photo.

      Gary,

I did a frame-up restoration of my 1966 Corvette from 1980 to 1995 and never saw any part like that.

Gary it looks like the solid axle Corvette throttle lever from the gas pedal to the engine side of the firewall where the throttle lever that goes to the carb then clamps on to it. Scott

It's definately a throttle lever but could it be home made.

            Gary,
here is a pic of my 67 I took when I started my restoration. It doesn't show the flat that slips into the other part in the pic but it has the same flat like the one in your pic.

Thanks all. I don't see anything exactly like it in the C1 sections of the repro parts catalogs. Attached is the photo of a 58-62 accelerator pedal pivot rod from the Corvette Central catalog, but that part is slightly different than what I have.

The one I have doesn't look home-made to me.

                Gary -

I don't recognize it as any C1/C2 part.

Looks like the lower part of a shopping cart that someone dis-manteled to push an engine around on.
