      Do you really want to "polish" them? They were never polished originally.

          Bill, John is correct. It is easier to polish the cover then to restore it back into original condition. The way I use to dull the cover is once its polished is to apply a WAB aluminum trailer cleaner. The product is concentrated acids. Just use proper saftey when using.
