I know this is way off topic, and if my post needs to be deleted I understand, but I hope someone can give me some help.
I am strongly considering a 1967 Chevelle SS hardtop, 325 HP, that is a "survivor" in every sense of the word. Original paint, original interior, original drive train, excellent body and frame. It has a/c as well. No restoration attemped on anything. From the average collector standpoint the undesirable part is it is a powerglide car with a bench seat. But I feel the survivor status changes the rules a bit, am I right?
It is different from the car I have been looking for (1966 with buckets) but I have a great appreciation for this type of car. I never thought a survivor type car this close to what I had in mind would become available to me in this kind of condition.
Here is where I need help. What is a car like this realistically worth on the open market today? As much as I like this car I do not wish to over pay for it. Any help from those that know about these things is appreciated.
