1960 Engine Casting Date
Is the engine casting date code visible without removing the blowdown tube or anything else?

If it is the same as a '57, it should be doable without removal of the blowdown tube. On mine it was a bit of a squeeze but I was able see it with a mirror. Also, I was able to get a camera wedged in to take a picture of it. As I recall, it was easier to see it from the driver's side even though it is located on the right side of the engine.
