    1969 Brake Lines

I have a late built 69 convt and it appears to have been untouched, very low milage. The brake lines in the rear and going back to front have the coil on them, is this correct? If not, when did the coils stop?

I just went through this on my 70. My repo lines were different than my originals. I know the front to rear is different as far as the armor from 69 to 70. The 69 armor stops about 2 foot from the front and the 70 two inches.

I just did an untouched Oct 2 1969 car and the front to back had the coil. I don't recall the ones that go across the back having the coil but I can check.

Yes, that would be great. Is the car a survivor? Is it yours? I really would like to see what you have. Mine is a low milage survivor and very clean but someone said that the coil on the line going to the rear caliper is wrong. Thanks

I just checked my buddies 69, O14 built vin 322337 and there is no armor on the rear cross over line or the rear caliper lines. The front ot rear armor stopes about 2 foot from the front.

Are you talking about the line that goes across the car or the short one that goes from the caliper to the trailing arm and attaches to the rubber hose? My trailing arms had been rebuilt and the short line that actually screws into the caliper looks to have been replaced.
