My manual brake '66 has a black cast dual master clyinder with white plastic caps. Is this stock? The car was assembled late July; 194376S127153, second last day of prodution. It is a low mileage, unrestored survivor, 35,000 miles. I thought it may have been built with a '67 master cylinder. Thanks!

The dual master cylinder you describe was only used on 66's with power brakes, and had separate lines from the master cylinder for the front and rear systems; manual-brake 66's used a round Bendix master cylinder with a single line to the block on the frame. 67's used a totally different dual master cylinder and lines.
Can you post a photo of the installation?- Top
