1960 Wheel Covers; what to do?

See a few of before and after resto pics.

This li'l Honduras Maroon vette with original paint is about ready for it's maiden run after a pretty extensive restoration of the major operating systems as the car was sitting for over ten years (five under an oil fabric type tarp outside).

Would like to purchase a set of original wheel covers, but as of today, no luck finding a nice set. Anyone know of who may have a set for sale? How would you rate the repops?

The car came with what I believe are 1963 wheel covers and those are in excellent condition after cleaning. The owner of this car would trade for the same quality.

Those are 64 Corvette wheel covers, one of two different styles used that year, frosted and unfrosted.

Since members get a free Driveline ad, you might want to consider placing an ad in the Driveline when you are ready to sell the wheel covers.

I see original C1 wheel covers for sale on e-bay and off e-bay web sites all the time; but without looking at the covers in person, it would be difficult to know what condition they are really in.

As Joe stated, it's hard to guess a price if you can't see what condition they're in.

So, I can't begin to give you an idea as to what they're worth. Depends on condition, especially if they're been "curbed" and scraped, or if they have zillions of little dents around the perimeter that need to be pounded out, etc.

Check EBAY to get a "feel" for prices.

Just go to ebay and plug in Chevrolet Corvette hubcaps. Always some available. I would not pay more than $100 each.
