PO 2 cover removal

I have to take one cover off to address a leaky caliper. Any advise not to mark it up. Screwdriver with lots of electrical tape?

Hi Jeff
On ebay there is these sets of Hard plastic pry bars. Look under ebay 300430300496
By a set for future use. I even used one of these tools repair a small dimple crease on the inside edge of an NOS trim ring.

If you can slide a thin piece of sheet metal, thick enough for the screw driver not to bend the sheet metal when prying.

So when you pry it the screw driver will drive into the sheet metal pushing the PO2 cover out vs damaging the metal ring of the PO2

Only other thing I can think of is using a wooded angle door stop wedge. Just wedge it all the way around till the cover comes off.
