    Wheel Cover problem

I am having a bear of a time with my wheel covers. I took them off for cleaning and paint touch up and got three of them back on no problemo. One rear cover will not go back on. I tried three different covers on the same wheel and none will go on. Anyone have a clue why this is?

Jerry, if the wheel covers came off they have to go back on. When I take wheel covers off I label the wheel cover to what wheel it came off. The best thing for you to do is to find the wheel that the wheel cover came off of. Try all the wheels until you find the correct wheel that the wheel cover came off of.

Thanks Mike! I switched the rear wheel covers and wallah! It worked. From now on I'll mark them when I take them off.

I always use a rubber mallet to install hubcaps. Never dent them hitting around the outer rim.
