Holy cow is that thing crisp. Someone stored that car correctly! There is nothing like a true untouched low mile car.

Steve, The guy bought it new and had it stored inside in southern California for 32 years ,
It's one of the lowest mileage C3's in the world

I see the streaks from the windshield washer fluid on the glass.... is that the first/only time the wipers were run?

Ok, so now when are going to drive it?
Just kidding...

Curious as to just how well the car has manged as to conditions with mechanics?
Did the engine see any use, even at idle, during this time?
Are all the fluids, (oil, coolant, brakes, gear box, fittings, etc) still from the factory in '79?
And in what condition are they?
Has anything been changed since new, (air in the tires)?

I do like that color and optional spoiler combo from that year.

I see the antenna is in the raised position; is the radio on during the pics or is it a fixed antenna? A power one was an option, and with the other opts. on the car I would think it has one. (hopefully it's not a power one already broke and stuck in the raised position!) I had issues with my '79 antenna when new, so had to ask...

Bob, the owner started the motor 6 times a year or so, the oil & coolant has been changed.........This car is as new

Yes the power antennas in 78-82 were bad from the factory,
I had to have the string inside replaced on my car, from not having any use, it looks like weed whacker string, the power anrenna motor is still good

....does it have the original calipers on it and have they been stainless steel sleeved? Can't tell you how many 100mi Pace Cars, Silver Anniversary's, '82 Collectors I've judged to see puddles of brake fluid dripping from the virtually untouched calipers. Don't think they'd pass a PV that way???

...super nice '79 by the way.

...I saw Brian & Yogi Bair's 852mi Yellow '79 L-82 automatic last week and it looked just a fresh. Well, OK, maybe not 2.9mi "fresh".
