    62 Package Tray Machine Screws

Any pictures or info on the machine screws, washers and nuts used on the package tray. Anything special about this hardware?

    Thanks

Search "59 package tray help". There are pictures there. Car #10975

What is the VIN of your 62? They changed the hardware, and the 59 reference may or may not be helpful.

I think this is what was in the car.

I believe that's what your later 62 would have had. They would be very different from John's early 62 and anything 59 through 61.

Agree that late cars use this screw. The change in the AIM is dated 12-6-61. Any idea at what VIN point the change started to show up on the cars ?

                John--
I don't. The reason I remember there is a difference is that I lost points the first time I showed my #12231 car because the team leader didn't know there was a running change, and wouldn't buy that those were original. I guess he had an excuse--that was 1977 and the AIM's had not yet been discovered by the hobby.
