I doubt that the pump is an original or, even, GM SERVICE piece.

You can tell if it's a high volume pump by measuring the length of the gears. A standard volume pump has gears which are 1.3" long and a high volume pump has gears that are 1.5" long.

As far as pressure goes, the only difference between a standard pressure and high pressure pump is the installed spring. However, it's difficult to visually discern the difference between the springs especially if the pump is aftermarket which yours likely is. A high volume pump is always high pressure, so if you do have a high volume pump, then you know it's also high pressure.

The original oil pump for your application was GM #3764547 and it was a standard pressure, standard volume pump. I believe it was manufactured internally by GM. It's long-since GM-discontinued, though, and superceded several times. The current GM pump is GM #12555284. However, I don't think this pump is manufactured by GM and is likely of Melling manufacture. It might be the same as a Melling M-10553. Both pumps cost about the same, so you might want to go with the GM piece.
