Owner found - doc's reunited with car.
Car is part of a large collection overseas in Holland.

Curious, what are the common reasons these get separated from the cars?

It leaves the glove box as a bundle of papers and booklets and ___?

On all re-sales, the dealer removed this info from every vehicle upon trade-in.
For privacy reasons there was no need for the new owner to have the original owners name.
Even now the dealer would prefer not to give out that information.

But really the main reason was - after the factory warrantee was concluded, the POP booklet was a useless item.

I think I know that collection - owner is Andre Boer, our former Dutch Chapter Judging Chairman.

The website is in Dutch but pictures will tell more than a 1000 words - I think the car at hand is on one of the pictures:

He is by the way expanding his museum which will have a grand opening on 31 March 2012 (when Andre is 40 years in business) - so if you are in the neighbourhood - Wezep is the go to place (1 h from Amsterdam).
