    Splash pan paint

Not finding anything specific on the paint for the splash pans on my '62. I am assuming flat black on both sides like the paint for the engine compartment?

    David -

The sheet metal splash pans were processed through the same high-volume flow-coat/dip black prime system as the fan shroud, which produced a semi-gloss appearance.

The engine compartment blackout was sprayed, with flattened black lacquer, resulting in a semi-flat "eggshell" sheen.

      Thank you John,

I thought I had seen them with the semi-gloss but could not find it anywhere to prove it.
